Doug DeBolt serves as President of BAM Collections, where he leads the organization with a focus on operational excellence, client service, and regulatory compliance. Since assuming ownership of the company in 2024, Doug has continued to build on BAM’s strong foundation by driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business to deliver measurable results for clients.
Doug began his career with BAM in 2004 as Director of Information Technology, a role he held for two decades. During that time, he played a critical role in shaping the company’s technology infrastructure and operational processes. His leadership helped establish secure, scalable, and highly efficient systems for client data processing, reporting, automation, and compliance—capabilities that remain central to BAM’s success today.
With a background that bridges both technology and operations, Doug brings a disciplined, systems-driven approach to the collections industry. He is deeply committed to ensuring that BAM’s back-office operations are seamless, responsive, and aligned with client needs, while maintaining the highest standards for data security and regulatory compliance. His focus on leveraging industry-leading technology enables BAM to remain agile and consistently deliver strong performance for its healthcare partners.
Doug holds a degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University. Prior to joining BAM, he worked with Moore North America, Peak Technologies, and Purdue University.
Outside of his professional role, Doug is actively involved in the local community. He has served as an assistant coach in Little League Baseball, a Cub Scouts Den Leader and Pack Committee member, and a Boy Scouts committee member.
Steve Kunkle has a long and successful career in financial management. A graduate of Gettysburg College, Steve received his CPA then went on to earn his MBA from Widener University. In 1997, Steve co-founded Bureau of Account Management (BAM). Three years later, he co-founded BAM’s sister company, KeyMed Partners, a healthcare accounts receivable management company. In his current role, he oversees the company’s financial, tax, benefits, information technology and planning functions. He is an active member of AICPA, HFMA, AAHAM and PICPA.
Barth has handled all levels of medical accounts receivable collections for nearly three decades. He is a co-founder of Bureau of Account Management (BAM) and its sister company KeyMed Partners, a healthcare accounts receivable management company. His primary focus and knowledge base is the collection of self-pay A/R, but he is integral to the operation side of KeyMed Partners, with expertise in planning, hiring, training, client service, customer care, sales and setting performance goals. A graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in Finance, Barth is a member of AAHAM and HFMA.
A graduate of Clarion University, Sharon joined BAM in 2007. She worked in sales throughout Central Pennsylvania for nearly twenty years and now is focused on developing new business, marketing BAM’s services and maintaining current customer relationships. Sharon enjoys meeting and working with professionals in the healthcare field because they make a difference in the lives of patients. She served as past president of the Central PA HFMA Chapter and is a member of AAHAM, HFMA, PA MGMA and POMAY.
